Friday's General Election In Ghana Endorsed To Be Peaceful
Nigeria's former president Olusegun Obasanjo will be holding a world news conference on Thursday, December 6, 2012, in Accra, Ghana, to officially announce the call for a peaceful election ahead of Friday, December 7, 2012 presidential election in Ghana. Meanwhile, Obasanjo, former president and founding father of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Jerry Rawlings and former president John Kufuor along with ECOWAS and the African Union team met Tuesday, December 4, 2012, and were all pleased with the conducts of the election on Friday.
