Goodluck Jonathan Will Attend UN General Assembly Without Wife

President Goodluck Jonathan's plans to silence his critics who have been questioning his wife, Patience Jonathan's whereabouts and health condition seems not to be working in his favor. Jonathan had planned to travel to New York with his wife to attend the United Nation's general Assembly. Doctors attending to Patience declined Jonathan's request on the ground the president's wife is not well enough to embark on long trips.

However, Jonathan will be going to New York in the company eleven federal ministers along with the governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta and Bauchi. Jonathan and his entourage arrives New York Monday, September 24, 2012.
