Fighting In The Congo

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon visits the Rwanda Demobilization and Reintegration Commission (RDRC) in Kigali, Rwanda Thursday, May 23, 2013, after arriving from Congo. The U.N. chief is traveling to Congo, Rwanda and Uganda, and specifically to Goma in Congo, for the first time since the Security Council authorized the creation of a new intervention brigade, which will be based in that city and will have an aggressive mandate allowing the peacekeepers to engage the M23 rebels stationed just north of the city.
