Nigeria: Governor Yakowa of Kaduna Killed In Helicopter Crash


Kaduna State Governor Patrick Yakowa has been killed in a helicopter crash in Bayelsa State. The helicopter crashed at Ogbia Creek and also dead was former National Security Adviser Andrew Azazi.

 No survivors in the Navy copter that busted into flames crashing at the creek in Ogbia. The victims have been identified: Two aides to the governor, the pilot and co-pilot of the Navy copter, Dauda Tsoho, warrant officer Mohammed Kamal, Commander Muritala Mohammed and Lt. Adeyemi O .Sowole. The victims had attended a burial of father of Presidential Adviser, Oronto Douglas in Okoroba village, Bayelsa State and were returning to Port Harcourt for their transit to their respective destinations.
